Tarangire National Park i norra Tanzania är elefanternas och baobabträdens park. In addition to the elephants, there is a wildlife with many different mammal species, including large predators, and the most species-rich birdlife among the Tanzanian parks. Lake Manyara National Park is located near Tarangire but does not have the savannah-like nature that is often associated with safaris, but is largely covered in trees. The park's main attractions are the nature, a rich birdlife, many monkeys, elephants and a lot of different herbivorous mammals. Cats are present, but not seen very often.
